On the 28/07/09, I went down to a pastry shop at Telok Blangah Road and bought 2 boxes of party pack – 1 Mix cakes & 1 Chocolicious.

Surprisingly, there are only 1 salesman manning the counter, and i was made to wait for around 15min as he was hogging onto his hp throughout !!! Thus, this mades me wonder if the call is an personal or work related???? ?

First, he showed me what are the cakes they had left on the shelf – 1 box of mix cakes, 1 box of pastry & 1 box of chocolicious, thus i decided to get the pastry & mix cakes. And at the same time, i was on the phone checking with my wife whether she wanted the choocolious too. The next moment, that i know off, the salesman sold off the pastry without confirming with me as i was in the front queue.

At that point of time, i didnt want to argue with the salesman as i believe the lady who come after me didn’t want to leave with disappointment as anyone else does too!!!!!

Indeed, the Hazelnut Chocolate Truffle & Dark Forest was delicious but the comment for Blueberry & Strawberry Slice was only average.

On the next day afternoon , I took out the cakes to eat, the strawberry slice tasted abit sour and there mould on it.

The explanation from the pastry shop was : It is actually the blueberry color. They also commented that they did received this feedback from their customer before and insisted cannot be mouldy. The taste was sour and how can it be the blueberry?????? Can’t I differentiate mouldy and blueberry?????? Next they give another explanation that it might be due to my chiller not cold enough and that their cake is made fm fresh dairy so have to ensure that the chiller is at the right temperature. Does that mean all my fresh milk in my chiller turn sour too?

Disappointment is what i can said.
