Morning Call timing, 0245 hrs.
We got our luggage packed because we will be checking out today, heading to Cairo.

Took a 3 hours coach ride to The famous historical site, Abu Simbel.
For safety reasons, all the coaches that will be heading to Abu, which is across the desert and about 300km away from Aswan, will gather in the early morning and travel as a convoy. There are even armed guards in each coach.

Along the way, we came across with the scene of beautiful sunrise…

And you know how to fight the sun when you are sitting right in front of the coach? Let our dear tour guide do a demo for you… ha

Abu Simbel
In the heart of Nubian territory, almost on the borders of Sudan and about 300km from Aswan, is the most beautiful and imposing construction of the greatest pharaoh in Egyptian history.

That night, we hop on to a 12hrs over night train to Cairo.

A peep of my train cabin, lucky number 2!! Ha

I spend half the time on my Macbook, uploading and editing the pictures I’ve taken during the trip. Making full use of my time.

And here we are, arriving at Giza Railway Station.

For about 2 years, I’ve waiting to set foot on the Pyramid, touching and feeling the masterpiece… Finally, I’m right in front of it…
